Lola’s Cupcakes

Lolas Cupcakes needed a rebrand and new approach to make its seasonal content more appealing.
I worked alongside the graphic design team at Lola’s.
We designed a fresher colour palette, typeface and logo which was aimed at the current target audience and could be used across multi media platforms.
After several bakery visits to observe the cupcakes being made and hand finished, we then created a typeface inspired by the icing being piped.


Lola’s Cupcakes sells hundreds of cupcakes everyday. The current packaging for the cupcake was a box contained in a bag to carry the box.
To reduce waste and to cut costs, we designed a concept to combine the box and the bag together. Extending the handles created a handbag style container, able to be carried easily whilst still providing a safe environment for the cupcakes.
